natural nail even though I used the forms to expend my nail length! Read LessRead less about I love how my nails turned out with
ck enough but it just bonds to itself so it was no issue. If it was too thin I just did a second layer or a third. If they were too long, I cut them to the desired length they’re able to be filed and then put color Street on top of them and my nails look like I professionally got them done. It did take like two hours to do both hands, but it was my first time. I’m pretty excited about it because for the price of the kit if I use it twice, it’s cheaper than going to the salon. PREP-
A]wash hands, shape nails, push back cuticles. (I would add carefully/lightly buff all around the cuticle and sides to completely clean off any clingy skin)
B] buff nails to remove shine. Wash dust off.
C]dehydrate nail with 2-in-1 dehydrator.
(I bought cheap alcohol wipes/prep pads bc you have to wipe the goo off the gel nail after every cure)
___________
1, choose correct nail for each finger, must fit side to side.
2 before applying builder gel apply bonder to the nail.
(My personal note, the bonder really bonds great. So be sparing unless you really want it to stick. If you use bonder all over your nail you might have to file it off come removal time. Thats not a bad thing necessarily. But don't just yank on it. I did it was fine, but some put it just all around the edges. But that might not be enough if you are hard on your nails.)
3 apply a line of NAIL BUILDER down center of nail. Cure 10-15secs. It will self level.
4 flip the form a nail nailform over and apply a small line of buikder gel 3/4 of tge way down. Do not overload or let it go to sides. It will come out on sides (if it does wipe it off before curing)
5 flip nailform over and press onto your nail ( me: carefully starting from bottom. Don't let bubbles happen, press with your finger for the first 10 secs of curing to make sure it stays in place) Clean up excess gel which squeezes out before curing.
6 pop off form by wiggling it lightly side to side, file edges and sides.
Check out this video, she does it a bit differently, but use all the items in YOUR kit , dont worry about the items she uses. You have a brush with your gel that's fine, she uses a spatula. For some reason she does it twice per nail. She still gives good tips.
